serving local communities

We’re passionate about doing our part to make the world a little kinder. Since KIND was founded, our team members have given over 55,000 volunteer hours to spread kindness and support local communities around the world. When 2020 presented the need for kindness more than ever, we jumped in to ensure frontline heroes, local communities, and our own team were met with empathy and inclusion.

  • In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, The KIND Foundation launched Frontline Impact Project, a matchmaking platform that connects companies to frontline institutions in need of food, beverages, personal care items, and other quality-of-life goods. KIND donated 5 million bars globally to support frontline heroes combatting the pandemic and has served over 375 frontline institutions in the US alone. The project will support those on the frontlines as long as the need persists.

  • We recognize each of our roles in combatting social injustices. As we seek to build a kinder world inside and outside of KIND, our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Action Team was established to lead and champion this important work. We’re committed to furthering our education and learning about unconscious bias with all team members, bringing greater diversity to our recruitment efforts, adopting two Historically Black Colleges & Universities, and more. The KIND Foundation is also donating $100,000 to organizations addressing systemic racism, such as the Equal Justice Initiative and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

  • In the 21 days leading up to World Kindness Day, we encouraged our team and community to join us in building a habit of kindness. Across 25 countries, our #21DAYSKIND challenge engaged our communities in doing a kind act each day, inspiring a ripple of kind acts from the United States to Lebanon and many places between! Our team also participated in virtual volunteer opportunities to continue our support for local charities in our own backyard.

  • Kindness and empathy will always be at the center of how we stand up and show support for our communities across the globe. We will continue to break down barriers to create more inclusive and empathetic communities.
